Chariho High School Renovation & Expansion

The Chariho Regional Schools project included approximately 135,000 square feet of renovations to the existing Chariho High School, a 30,000 square feet addition to the high school, and a major controls upgrade to the Middle School.

Stephen Turner Inc. provided commissioning services from 2010 through 2012 to meet the Northeast Collaborative for High Performance Schools (NE-CHPS) prerequisite and elective credit commissioning requirements. As part of the commissioning design reviews, Stephen Turner Inc. reviewed the energy model to ensure that the proposed systems would qualify for additional energy reimbursement funds from the Rhode Island Department of Education. The commissioned systems included air handling units, heating hot water systems, domestic hot water systems, automatic lighting controls and Building Automation System.
